14 Anos de trayectora, 14 years of history: Biography
ALACRANES MUSICAL was formed in November of 1995, their name ("Scorpion") to represent their home state of Durango. Their debut was in 2003 with the CD Furia Alacranera.
Alacranes Musical has released some of the top Spanish language releases of the year Duranguense began to make it big. Their album ‘100% Originales’ made it on Billboard's top 200. Releasing an average of two original records a year, Alacranes topped their previous sales records with the 2006 album A Paso Firme, landing the number one spot on Billboard's Regional Mexican charts, and once again landing in Billboard's Top 200. Alacranes Musical has not slowed their pace since then. With a few changes in their line-up, the Urbina Family continues to give their loyal fans their music and their talent; and anticipate some surprises coming up as far as their next album is concerned.
